Recruiting New DIA Board Members

Are you a Dimond resident or business person interested in community building — such as beautification, public art, clean-up, safety, neighborhood meetings, and great events like Oaktoberfest?

The DIA is always looking for enthusiastic, hard-working, committed individuals interested in joining our Board of Directors.

Special skills and previous experience are not required — time, energy, and community spirit are the most important. That said, we would especially like to build our effectiveness by adding more legal, grant-writing, finance, web, database, fund-raising, and member/volunteer recruitment talent.

If you would like to explore being a board member, please email dia@dimondnews.org. The board meets the second Thursday of the month at 7:00 p.m. at the Dimond Library (upstairs) or on-line via Zoom. Attend one of our meetings and see what we do!
