If you have ever glanced up at Radio Shack's sign facing Fruitvale,
you know that it has been covered with pigeon poop for a long time.

Steve was cleaning up the sign, so I stopped and said hello.
He told me that he had been called to work on the sign and after seeing it,
he contacted Radio Shack's corporate office and received permission to
clean it up and install pigeon control spikes.

He said that the sign in front of McDonald's also is dirty
and he will be talking with them about cleaning up their sign
